How long can I be a student member?
Teacher status is generally achieved within 12 months of beginning your studies, therefore a student membership in the PMA is limited to a length of 1 year at which time you must update to a teacher status.

Student teachers are allotted one year of membership. You are unable to renew Student Membership, you must upgrade to Teacher membership.

YES! Membership in the PMA is inclusive and is no longer restricted to only NCPT certification.
The PMA DOES NOT offer insurance. You must contact your insurance carrier to renew your insurance. However, as a PMA member, you can enjoy a discount from both Lockton Affinity and Insured Fitness Group. Check it out on our Insurance Page.
